FRY ALLOY C 276

Fry Alloy C is a corrosion and heat resistant nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten. This product exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh environments and media. Like many other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easily formed and welded. This alloy is used in most industrial settings where aggressive chemical environments are present and other alloys have failed. The material is used for parts and assemblies, such as turbine rotors, shafts, blades, and bolts, requiring high strength up to 1500F (816C) and oxidation resistance up to 2000F (1093C). Fry Alloy C is frequently used in industries such as, chemical and petrochemical processing, oil and gas, power generation, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper production and wastewater treatment.
