Waspaloy Cold Reduced (Type 1) - Super Alloy - Fry Steel

Super Alloy / WASPALOY "COLD REDUCED"

Waspaloy Cold Reduced (Type 1) is a cold worked nickel-base alloy with excellent high temperature strength and good resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1600 F. Waspaloy has higher stability and strength ranges than those available for alloy 718. Waspaloy is available as Type 1 Solution heat-treated, cold reduced and centerless ground and Type 2 Solution heat treated and centerless ground per AMS-5708. This corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy product is typically used for parts, such as bolts and turbine blades, requiring high strength up to 1500 F (816 C) and oxidation resistance up to 1750 F (954 C). Waspaloy is often used in extreme environments and is common in gas turbine engine components. (UNS N07001)
