A-286 Age Hard 1800 Solution Treated - Super Alloy - Fry Steel

Super Alloy / A-286 AGE HARD 1800 ST

A-286 1800 Solution Treated is a nickel and iron-based austenitic superalloy that is solution annealed at 1800 and then precipitation heat treated (aged) to provide a minimum room temperature tensile strength of 130 KSI. This alloy is useful for parts requiring moderate strength up to 1300 F (704 C) and oxidation resistance up to 1500 F (816 C). A-286 material has wide applications in high temperature fasteners, springs, jet engine components, offshore oil and gas turbines. (UNS S66286)
