Stainless Steel / 440-C VAC MELT ANN

440C Vacuum Melt is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel processed by Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) to reduce impurities for very demanding applications. Premium aircraft-quality material typically used for anti-friction bearing components requiring resistance to both corrosion and wear and having hardness not lower than 58 HRC. This high purity magnetic alloy is often used for ball bearings, bushings, valve parts, dental and surgical tools.
