4750 Annealed - Alloy Steel - Fry Steel

Electrical Steel / 4750 ANN

Annealed 4750 is a nickel-iron super alloy that is known for its ability to operate under high mechanical stress and its good magnetic properties. This steel is used in products where high initial permeability, maximum permeability, and low core loss is required. This material is moderately resistant to corrosion. This soft magnetic alloy is popular in the aerospace, electrochemical, gas and oil, and telecommunication industries for applications that demand very low current holding magnets. 4750 steel is commonly used to produce transformer cores, highly efficient motors, shielding, and specialized electronic devices, such as LF power transducers, chokes, relay parts, solenoids & oscillators.
