Grade 7075 Cold Finished (CF) / T-73 Temper Aluminum is solution heat treated and stabilized by overaging. This product is artificially overaged after solution heat treatment to provide maximum strength. Aluminum alloy 7075 is well-known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it an ideal material for applications where weight is a critical factor. 7000 series are the hardest and strongest commercial grades of aluminum. Grade 7075 is the most common of the 7000 series grades. This alloy is precipitation hardened to very high strength levels making it ideal for the production of airframe structures and other highly stressed components. (UNS A97075)
