Aluminum / CF 6262 ALUM T-9

Grade 6262 Cold Finished (CF) / T-9 Temper Aluminum is solution heat treated, artificially aged and cold worked. Aluminum alloy 6262 has good corrosion resistance and very good weldability. Elements bismuth and lead are added to this material to provide excellent machining capabilities. This product is a heat treatable / free-machining alloy used to produce valves, screw machine parts, marine fittings, marine hardware and oil & gas fittings. (UNS A96262)
