Aluminum / CF 2011 ALUM T3

Grade 2011 Cold Finished (CF) / T-3 Temper Aluminum is solution heat treated, cold worked, and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition. Aluminum alloy 2011 provides good mechanical properties and exceptional machinability. Often called a Free Machining Alloy (FMA) it is well suited to use in automatic lathes. This material can be heat treated, annealed, aged, and tempered. It offers fair corrosion resistance and a high strength to weight ratio. 2011 has excellent surface finish capabilities allowing for smooth finishes and tight tolerances. This product is typically used to produce screw machine parts, small precision gears, and other precision machine parts. (UNS A92011)
