Aircraft Alloys / 9310 N & T

9310 Normalized & Tempered is a carburized grade steel alloy containing nickel, chromium and molybdenum. This alloy provides a high core hardness and high fatigue strength. The normalized and tempered condition offers the best machinability. This material is produced for the purpose of case hardening. It is used for applications where strength, toughness, and high wear resistance are required, making it an excellent choice for aircraft parts. Alloy 9310 is used for the production of aircraft engine gears & pinions, shafts, clutches, and piston pins. (UNS G93106)
